Urology

The Belgian Working Group for Uropathology was esthablished in 2016.

Aims

To enhance the knowledge and good practice of uropathology
To encourage interaction between pathologists with a shared subspecialist interest
Sharing experience and cases of unusual pathologies
To stimulate scientific research and collaborations between different pathologists/ pathology laboratories
Incorporating science into daily practice
To propose guidelines for improving the diagnostic accuracy, the appropriate use of additional techniques, new tests and the standardization of the pathological report
To make consensus statements about any issue related to uropathology
To organise teaching sessions and symposia
